The seventh PSSOH conference on Application of free software and open hardware (srp. Primena slobodnog softvera i otvorenog hardvera), will be held on October 12, 2024 at the University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering. PSSOH is one-day conference and includes plenary lecture and invited presentations. This year, one of the founders of Open Science Community Serbia (OSCS), Dr. Ljiljana B. Lazarević, Principal Research Fellow will held plenary lecture titled "Meta-science - how to improve science using science". Agenda of the PSSOH conference is available via Zenodo.
In 2024, conference will also include two workshops, that will be held on October 26, 2024 at the University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering:
- Prof. Miloš D. Đurić will organize the workshop titled "The application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools in the analysis of smaller corpora" and
- Marko Mijailović from the student organization EESTEC LC u Belgrade (which is a coorganizer of the PSSOH workshop) will organize workshop titled "Practical Git: Effective source code management"
Participation at the conference is free of charge, but the registration is mandatory and available HERE. Applications for the PSSOH wokrshops will be soon available at the PSSOH website, and the number of participants is limited, so be the first to apply!
