Open Science Community Serbia (OSCS) is presented during the conference Open Science Day V in Serbia, that was held at the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade on November 5, 2024. During two sessions titled "Projects, networks, and initiatives", where librarians and researchers in Republic of Serbia presented their activities during the past two years, OSCS was also presented.

Open Science Community Serbia was established in 2021, while it shares Guiding Principles and Code of Ethics with other communities around the world that are gathered under the umbrella organization - International Network of Open Science & Scholarship Communities (INOSC).
